The incident, which occurred at a restaurant in Noida’s Sector-39 area, has put the spotlight on attempts to tarnish the image of Noida Police.

NOIDA – In a shocking incident that unfolded at Garden Galleria Mall, two individuals impersonated a Station House Officer (SHO) and caused a scene after refusing to pay a hefty bill following a night of drinking and dining. The incident, which occurred at a restaurant in Noida’s Sector-39 area, has put the spotlight on attempts to tarnish the image of Noida Police.

According to police reports, the two unidentified men visited the Illu Zone Bar and Restaurant on Sunday night. They consumed food and expensive liquor, racking up a bill of ₹10,367. However, when presented with the bill, the men refused to pay, claiming one of them was the SHO of a local Noida police station. They allegedly responded to the staff’s request for payment with hostility, saying, "How dare you ask us for money?"

Violence After Refusing to Pay

When the restaurant’s manager, Shekhar Samvendra Singh, and the staff insisted that the men settle the bill, the situation escalated. The imposters became violent and assaulted the manager and other employees. After creating chaos, both men fled the scene.

Police Investigation Underway

Sector-39 Police Station In-charge, Inspector Jitendra Kumar Singh, confirmed the incident and stated that an official report has been filed. The police are investigating the case and have begun analyzing CCTV footage from the restaurant. Inspector Singh assured that the culprits would be identified and arrested soon.

“The police are actively searching for the suspects, and they will be brought to justice. We are treating this case with the utmost seriousness, and strict legal action will be taken against them,” Inspector Singh added.

As the investigation continues, the incident has raised concerns about the lengths some individuals go to tarnish the reputation of the police by impersonating officers and engaging in criminal behavior.
