Nine Officials from Noida, Greater Noida, and Yamuna Authorities Suspended for Failing to Join New Posts

Noida, Uttar Pradesh: In a significant move, the Uttar Pradesh government has suspended nine officials from the Noida Authority, Greater Noida Authority, and Yamuna Authority for failing to report to their newly assigned posts after being transferred. The suspended officials include six from the Noida Authority, one from the Yamuna Authority, and two from the Greater Noida Authority.

The suspension was ordered by Anil Sagar, the Principal Secretary of Industrial Development, after it was discovered that these officials had not complied with their transfer orders. This action has sent shockwaves through the respective departments.

Officials Ignored Transfer Orders

Despite receiving transfer orders, the suspended officials continued to occupy their previous posts, disregarding the directives from the administration. The suspended officials from the Noida Authority include Assistant Legal Officer Nardev, Private Secretary Vijendra Pal Singh, Assistant Manager U.S. Farooq, Assistant Legal Officer Sushil Bhati, Manager Sumit Grover, and Accountant Pramod Kumar. From the Yamuna Authority, Manager Ajab Singh Bhati was suspended.

In addition, Assistant Manager Surendra Kumar and Manager Vijay Kumar Vajpayee from the Greater Noida Authority were also suspended. The state government has further ordered departmental inquiries against three other Noida Authority officials: DGM Vijay Rawal, SM Satendra Giri, and Assistant Manager Prem Kumar.

Yogi Government's Strict Action

This decisive action by the Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government is part of a broader effort to enforce discipline and accountability within government departments. Known for his prompt and strict actions, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has reiterated on several occasions that government officials must perform their duties diligently and promptly.
