Noida Police Busts Fake Document Racket: 7 Arrested for Creating Passports to Send QNET Employees Abroad

Noida Police has uncovered a major fake document racket led by a gang involved in creating fraudulent rent agreements, notarized documents, and bank accounts to issue real passports without police verification. The racket was primarily used to send QNET employees abroad. Over 100 fake documents and genuine passports were recovered, and seven individuals have been arrested.

Noida Police Busts Fake Document Racket: A major breakthrough for Noida Police was achieved by the Bisrakh police, who unearthed a massive scale racket of fake documents. This operation included forged notary documents, fake rent agreements, and counterfeit IDs, which were used to open bank accounts and get authentic passports without police verification; these forged passports were then used to send QNET employees abroad.

In the course of the probe, the police found a list of over 100 genuine passports prepared from forged documents. Seven suspects who were allegedly connected to the racket were arrested. It is reported that the suspects managed to carry out illegal activities because of their well-coordinated and 'bypass-proof' verification systems.

The authorities are expanding the scope of the investigation to identify more accomplices and beneficiaries of the racket. This operation underlines the increasing problem of counterfeit documents and the need for stricter verification mechanisms.
