Ajaz Khan's Wife Fallon Guliwala Arrested in Drug Smuggling Case: Former Bigg Boss Star Reacts
Fallon Guliwala, the wife of actor-turned-politician Ajaz Khan, was arrested by the customs department after a raid at her home in Jogeshwari revealed various drugs. The arrest comes over a month after Ajaz’s staff member was caught smuggling drugs, including MDMA, meant for delivery to Khan’s office. Guliwala, a foreign national, was detained following the raid, where authorities seized 136 grams of charas, 33 grams of MDMA, 28 grams of MDMA tablets, and Rs 11 lakh in cash.
The drug smuggling investigation began on October 8 when Ajaz Khan’s peon, Suraj Gaud, was arrested for ordering 100 grams of mephedrone through a courier. Gaud’s questioning revealed that the drugs were regularly ordered by Ajaz’s nephew, Farhan, who was linked to the Ek Number Production house. Further investigations led officials to Guliwala’s residence, where the drugs were discovered.
After Guliwala’s arrest, the agency is now attempting to locate Ajaz Khan, who has been unavailable for questioning. Khan, previously arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in a 2021 drug case, had spent 26 months in jail before his release. In 2022, the Bombay High Court denied him bail, citing his possible involvement in drug trafficking.
Khan, who made an unsuccessful attempt at state politics by contesting the Maharashtra Assembly elections, took to social media to express his frustration. While he did not directly address his wife’s arrest, Khan vented about his family being targeted, presumably due to his political leanings. He criticized the administration for allegedly pressuring his family, insisting that he had been unfairly implicated in false cases.
