SSC CGL Result 2024 for Over 17,000 Vacancies Expected Soon

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is set to announce the 2024 CGL Tier 1 results soon, covering over 17,000 vacancies. Candidates can view their scores on ssc.gov.in by entering their roll numbers. The exam included four subjects, with passing criteria varying by category.
 

SSC will soon declare the result for the Combined Graduate Level Tier 1. The candidates can access the scores once declared by checking the official SSC website, www.ssc.gov.in by roll numbers issued on admit cards. So far, the Commission has not revealed any date and time when it will publish the results.

The Tier 1 SSC CGL exam for the year 2024 took place between September 9 and September 26, 2024. The answer keys for the exam were then declared on provisional basis on 4th October and the objections can be raised by candidates in case any discrepancy found till 8th October.

How to Check SSC CGL Result 2024:

  • Step 1 : Go to the Official SSC Website: ssc.gov.in.
  • Locate the Result Link: Once the link for "SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2024" is displayed on the home page, then click on it.
  • Result Page: A new window opens in the browser which contains the result interface
  • Enter Credentials: Enter the roll number and other relevant details.
  • Submit and See Result: After submitting it, you will be able to see your score
  • Download and Print: Then save a soft copy of the result and print the result for future use.

Passing Marks in SSC CGL Result 2024:

To qualify for SSC CGL examination, aspirants have to obtain the minimum marks as under as follows:

  • General Category: 30%
  • OBC and EWS Categories: 25%
  • Other Categories: 20%

Appointed aspirants will get a Group 'B' and Group 'C' posts in the vast numbers of ministries, departments and organizations of the Government of India. Aspirants may be placed in Constitutional Bodies, Statutory bodies, and Tribunals, too.

SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Pattern:

Tier 1 examination under SSC CGL will involve objective, multiple choice-based questions across four topics -

  • General Intelligence and Reasoning,
  • General Awareness,
  • Quantitative Aptitude,
  • English Comprehension,

where for each incorrect response provided, the total mark value will be deducted by half.

Number of vacancies opened through SSC CGL in 2024

SSC is hiring more than 17,727 vacancies in various governmental sectors. The monthly salary for the Group B posts under SSC CGL ranges from ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400. The Combined Graduate Level Examination is the Staff Selection Commission's exam to recruit Group B and C officers for various roles in ministries, departments, and organizations of the Government of India.
