To be eligible for the Rs 5,000 transfer, women are supposed to earn a combined household income of less than Rs 2.5 lakh annually. Also, the identity of beneficiaries should not exceed ₹1,500 in combination from other government schemes. These measures ensure that help is provided to the most deprived women of the state.
