The incident happened as the Eastern Naval Command was taking part in practice at Ramakrishna Beach. As these two officers went down from the sky with paratroopers open, they both got entwined, so it became confusing. In a viral video shot, one is seen holding up the national flag as the parachute spins out of control before meeting the water bodies.

Despite the dangerous fall, both Navy officers survived without any injury. Fortunately, there was a naval rescue boat present at the scene that promptly pulled them out of the water. The frightening incident ended safely, demonstrating the quick response and readiness of the naval team.
