Tesla Crash Into Divider, 4 Killed in Battery Explosion

In a tragic accident near Toronto, Canada, a high-speed Tesla crashed into a divider after midnight on Thursday, resulting in a battery explosion that ignited a severe fire. There were four car occupants, including siblings Keta Gohil and Nil Gohil from Godhra, Gujarat. A severe fire at the back killed the siblings in the car, and the remaining two are likely to be identified by police.
Initially, it was found that the fire had originated from the car's battery. The policemen also are scanning the CCTV footage of the accident place to ascertain if the car was either self-driving or was operated by a human.

Eye witnesses said they observed flames in the moving car before the fire occurred. Wellwishers attempted to help, and even one motorcyclist was reported to have tried breaking the car window to salvage some of the occupiers, but the vigorous flames denied the efforts. The police and firefighters had arrived soon after, but all four occupiers were dead by this time. The bodies have since been taken for postmortem as the families of the victims have been informed. The police have registered a case and are investigating the cause of the explosion in the battery and the circumstances of the accident.
