UP Police Constable Result 2024: Ready to pass the test and join the force?

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board will declare the much-awaited UP Police Constable written examination results of 2024 by the end of October. More than 48 lakh candidates had appeared for the examination in August across several dates. Candidates can check their results on the official UPPRPB websites, uppbpb.gov.in and uppbpb.nic.in, after the declaration.

UP Police Constable Result 2024: Expected Date and Time

The UPPRPB has already put an expectation date as 31 October, but not informed of the exact time on the day when results can be expected. For these updates, applicants will remain alert to check out updates from the official portal itself since the board would further make an official declaration mentioning the final details over dates and time.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered the UPPRPB to declare the results in a manner that does not compromise the sanctity of the examination. This move would speed up the process of recruitment of the constables so that the requirements of police personnel in the state could be met quickly.

Go to the result section of the homepage.
Click on the link of the "UP Police Constable Exam Result 2024."
Enter the details, roll number along with the registration number.
Press the submit button which will take you to your result, of which you can download a copy and keep for future reference.
Components of the Result: Final Answer Key and Cut-off Marks
With the outcome, UPPRPB will release the final answer key of the written exam and category-wise cut off marks. The candidates would be able to assess the performance against the qualifying benchmark. Any discrepancy found while verifying the answer key is corrected in the final version.

Physical Standards and Next Steps for Qualified Candidates

The successful candidates in the written test will be promoted to further stages which comprise a PST, PET and document verification. These steps ensure that all those declared fit undergo the necessary medical as well as formal clearances before being posted into the service.

Height
General/OBC/SC= 168 cm.
ST applicants= 160 cm.
Chest: Unexpanded 79 cm minimum, Expanded 84 cm for General, OBC, and SC; 77 cm unexpanded, 82 cm expanded for ST candidates
Physical Standards for Female Candidates:
Height: 152 cm for General, OBC, SC; 142 cm for ST candidates
Weight: Minimum 40 kg for all categories
The dates for these tests along with the document verification process shall be uploaded on the official UPPRPB website after the declaration of the result.

Normalization and Scoring System

The written examination went on for a few shifts where the board needed to make normalization to ensure all different question sets are given due consideration. Normalization varies scores with varying degrees of exam difficulties, thereby maintaining equality for all students involved. The board also reduces the number of erroneous questions by using a certain mark distribution formula.
