Indian Airlines Boost Security After Cartridge Found

Indian Airlines have faced some security threats lately. For 13 days prior to October 26, close to 300 flights were threatened to carry a bomb on board. Close to all the threats were done on social media, thus sparking concern and other security arrangements. Indigo faced the threat on one single day, that is October 22, for 13 of its flights. The same thing happened with Air India, and collectively nearly 50 flights were threatened to carry a bomb on board that day.

Such repeated incidents have mounted pressure on airlines to preserve rigorous safety mechanisms for every flight. Indian airlines like Air India are working in close association with the security agencies with regards to this incident and many others to ensure that passengers are safe and inconvenience is as minimum as possible. Some such protocols are intense checking of aircraft and passengers and complaint procedures in case of something unusual.

The Indian aviation sector takes very serious the incidents of such threats, and both airport security teams and airlines are doubling their protocols and response to any threat. Authorities continue to investigate the source of these bomb threats and the strange appearance of the cartridge to prevent further risks. This increased vigilance reflects the commitment of Indian airlines and security forces toward their passengers; safety in air travel becomes even more relevant, as its threats multiply.
