E. Coli is a bacterium naturally found in the intestines and can cause severe gastrointestinal illness in some forms. Symptoms include diarrhea, bloody diarrhea, dehydration, vomiting, abdominal cramping, and fever. The CDC urges people not to consume the contaminated carrots.
