2025 Kawasaki Ninja 300 Launched: New Colours, Same Great Performance

Kawasaki has launched its 2025 lineup of motorcycles with a new iteration of the best-selling Ninja 300. Not much is happening here this time, but the new bike gets some small updates to make it appear new and fresh once again.
2025 Kawasaki Ninja 300: New Colourways
For 2025, Kawasaki has added a new touch in the Ninja 300's colour scheme. Metallic Moondust Grey and Lime Green hues have been subtly adjusted, with yellow replacing red highlights, making the motorcycle more energetic and youthful in appearance.
The Candy Lime Green colour, a fan favourite in itself, has remained untouched, offering a classic but retro option for fans who love it.
Price and Features
The 2025 Ninja 300 continues to cost ₹3.43 lakh (Ex-showroom) that is, the same value for money. Kawasaki hasn't updated the features, so the Ninja 300 continues to feature its halogen headlamp, tail light, and turn indicators. While these features are not new-gen, they continue to get the job done.
It also holds over the semi-digital instrument screen with minimal functions and maintains the huge rear pillion grab rail — though functional, others have mocked its appearance.
Suspension-wise, the Ninja 300 holds onto its non-adjustable telescopic forks up front and retains the same tyre sizes: 110-section front and 140-section rear tyres.
Specs and Powertrain
Under the hood, the 2025 Ninja 300 uses the same 296cc parallel-twin powerplant that has become the hallmark of the bike. It offers 39 PS of power output at 11,000 RPM and 26.1 Nm of torque at 10,000 RPM. The powerplant remains high-revving and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and slip and assist clutch for effortless and quick shifts.
Although the powertrain and engine remain untouched, Ninja 300 still turns heads with its silky smooth power delivery and is an inspiration motorcycle to the majority of bike fanatics.
Ninja 300's Legacy in India
The Ninja 300 has played a key role in establishing Kawasaki in India, especially among those looking to transition from single-cylinder to multi-cylinder bikes. While Kawasaki’s Z900 remains the more desirable model in the lineup, the Ninja 300 has been the gateway bike for many enthusiasts, providing a more affordable introduction to the world of multi-cylinder motorcycles.
For years, it was the staging ground for motorcyclists seeking to advance to more powerful bikes — a legacy that still rings true.
