Pixel 10 Debuts on August 13, Bringing New Features and Designs

Google is holding firm to its mid-August launch timeline for the Pixel 10, and insiders have indicated that the official release will take place on August 13, 2025. The date repeats the launch date of the Pixel 9 last year, and it makes sense to carry the tradition over to announcing the new Pixel phones in the middle of the month. The release date, as leaked by Twitter insider @MysteryLupin, has now been further verified by Android Headlines.

Contrary to past years, there will be no long waits for consumers this time. Smartphones are said to hit retail stores as early as August 20, just seven days after the formal announcement — a much faster availability.

What to Expect from the Pixel 10 Family

The Pixel 10 family will comprise four models:

  • Standard
  • Pro
  • Pro XL
  • Pro Fold

Apart from this, the fourth-generation Pixel Watch will also be seen at the event, providing a full experience to enthusiasts of Google's ecosystem.

Pixel 10 Features and Upgrades

Although the Pixel 10 design updates will be minimal, according to reports, the Tensor G5 chip will be the most prominent update. For the first time, the chip will be produced by TSMC and not Samsung, a key change in manufacturing.

Camera system-wise, the Pixel 10 standard model will be equipped with a third telephoto camera, taking it closer to the Pro series models hardware-wise. To keep costs down, though, some compromises in terms of the camera quality due to the inclusion of the extra lens might have to be made.

Private Pixel 10 Demonstration in London

Prior to the public release, Google will have a private event, "Pixel Penthouse," on June 27, 2025, in London. The invite-only event will provide early access to not-yet-released Pixel hardware to 25 handpicked enthusiasts and industry partners. The event will give a thrilling preview of what is to come with the next generation of Pixel devices.
