Honda Activa 7G:The buzz in the market is heating up following the recent launch of the new TVS Jupiter 110 in India, and now all eyes are on the upcoming Honda Activa 7G. According to sources, Honda is set to introduce a completely revamped version of the Activa, packed with new features and a smart design. Currently, the Activa is available in both 110cc and 125cc engine variants, but reports suggest that only the 110cc model will debut with the new design, while the 125cc variant will receive updates later. Let’s take a look at what the new Activa 7G has to offer.

Major Redesign for the New Activa

Sources indicate that the Honda Activa 7G will be launched in January next year. The new model is expected to feature significant design changes, including a new headlight, daytime running lights (DRLs), and reflective lights at the front. The seat will be elongated to ensure better comfort for rear passengers. Additionally, the new design may provide more under-seat storage space, accommodating two full-sized helmets.

Honda Activa 7G: Engine and Performance

The Honda Activa 7G is likely to come equipped with an updated 109cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine, delivering 7.6bhp and 8.8Nm of torque. The scooter will also feature an engine start-stop switch to enhance fuel efficiency, as well as a silent starter and dual-function switch for quieter operation. It is expected to have a 5.3-liter fuel tank and Honda claims improved mileage, estimating between 50 to 55 km per liter.

Competing Against the TVS Jupiter 110

The new TVS Jupiter 110 has stepped up its game and is now more advanced than before, posing a tough competition for the existing Activa 100. Priced starting at ₹73,700, the Jupiter features a new 113.3cc single-cylinder engine equipped with fuel injection technology, producing 5.9kW of power and 9.8Nm of torque. The Jupiter also includes a CVT gearbox and offers under-seat storage for two helmets, although its mileage has yet to be disclosed.

As the Honda Activa 7G prepares for its launch, it will certainly be interesting to see how it stacks up against the TVS Jupiter in terms of performance, features, and overall appeal.
