  2. File a Complaint on Toll-Free Number: If the recipient refuses to return the money, file a complaint immediately by calling the toll-free number 1800-120-1740.

  3. Contact App Customer Support: For issues related to UPI payments, get in touch with the customer support of the app you used. Provide details of the transaction and file a complaint to seek resolution.

  4. Reach Out to Your Bank: If the money was transferred to the wrong account, contact your bank for assistance. They can help in recovering the funds.

  5. Register a Complaint with NPCI: The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) manages UPI transactions. You can file a complaint with NPCI, which may assist in recovering your funds.
