iQOO 13 Leaks: Slower Charging, Bigger Battery, and Game-Changing Features Revealed!

The iQOO 13 is expected to be officially revealed in the coming weeks. While iQOO has yet to announce the exact launch date, a tipster has leaked key specifications for this successor to the iQOO 12. It is said that the iQOO 13 will come with an IP68-rated build for dust and water resistance. Additionally, the rumor confirms the inclusion of an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for security. The iQOO 13 will likely be launched alongside the iQOO 13 Pro.

Charging Capabilities of iQOO 13

According to a Chinese tipster on Weibo, the iQOO 13 will support 100W PPS (Programmable Power Supply) fast charging and PD (Power Delivery) charging, much like the Vivo X100 series. However, this is a slight downgrade from the iQOO 12's 120W fast charging support. Initially, it was expected that the iQOO 13 would maintain the same charging speed as its predecessor.

What Comes in the Box?

The iQOO 13 is rumored to come with a USB Type-C to USB Type-C cable, and a charger is likely to be included in the package. The smartphone is tipped to feature an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and a hole-punch display. The display is expected to be an improved version of the BOE X2 Oriental screen.

Expected Design and Build

Further rumors suggest that the iQOO 13 will get a USB 3.0 port upgrade and maintain an IP68-rated build for water and dust resistance. It is also said to be less than 8.1 mm thick, making it sleek and compact.

iQOO 13 Specifications (Expected)

The iQOO 13 is rumored to have a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It may be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, with configurations offering up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. The rear camera setup could feature a 50-megapixel primary sensor, alongside a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 50-megapixel 2x telephoto camera. A 32-megapixel front camera is expected for selfies.

Thermal Management and Gaming Features

iQOO might introduce a new heat dissipation architecture for better thermal management, using a single-layer motherboard. Additionally, the company is likely to incorporate its self-developed Q2 chip, which is specifically designed for enhancing gaming performance. The iQOO 13 is also tipped to house a 6,150mAh battery.
