Jio Electric Bicycle 2025 – Price, Features & Launch Timelin

New Delhi, April 10 – Reliance Jio is preparing to enter India’s growing electric mobility segment with the launch of its much-anticipated Jio Electric Bicycle. According to sources familiar with the development, the e-bicycle is likely to debut in Q4 2025, with prices starting at ₹29,999.

Jio Electric Bicycle Price in India

The smart e-bike will reportedly be available in three variants:

• Base Model: ₹29,999 – includes standard pedal assist

• Mid Variant: ₹32,999 – features extended battery range and regenerative braking

• High-End Model: ₹35,000 – equipped with smart display, GPS, and IoT integration

Jio Electric Bicycle: Features & Technology

Jio’s electric bicycle is expected to feature a battery range of up to 80 km per charge, a weather-resistant LED smart display, and regenerative braking that converts braking energy into battery power. The high-end variant will also offer 5G connectivity, real-time tracking, and anti-theft GPS security with remote locking.

Industry experts believe the e-bike could disrupt the market by offering premium features at a competitive price. “Jio is aiming to democratize smart EV mobility with an affordable product backed by IoT and 5G,” an analyst said.

The move comes amid rising competition in India’s EV sector, with brands like Ola Electric and Ultraviolette already making waves. Ola has begun deliveries for the S1 Gen 3, while Ultraviolette is gearing up for its upcoming Tesseract electric bike launch.

When compared to existing e-bikes such as the Hero Lectro C3 (₹28,000, 40 km range) and EMotorad X2 (₹30,500, 50 km range), the Jio electric bicycle appears to offer a superior range and smart features at a comparable price point.

While Reliance has yet to make an official announcement, insiders suggest a festive season launch in October–December 2025 is likely.
