Meta's AI Chatbots Get Celebrity Voices: Chat with John Cena, Kristen Bell, and More on WhatsApp and Instagram!

Meta is preparing to take its AI chatbot to the next level. According to a report by Reuters, you will soon be able to converse with your favorite celebrity voices through Meta's AI chatbot. Meta is planning to add the voices of stars like Judi Dench, Kristen Bell, John Cena, Awkwafina, and Keegan-Michael Key to its chatbot. This means that soon, you’ll be able to hear voices like John Cena's while chatting with the bot on Instagram, WhatsApp, and Facebook. Let’s take a closer look at how this new feature will work.

Meta's AI Chatbots:How Will This Feature Work?

With this new feature, you will be able to select any of these celebrity voices for your chatbot. It will function similarly to OpenAI's voice mode, allowing users to engage with the bot in a much more personalized way.

When Will This Feature Be Released?

Meta is expected to officially announce this new audio capability at its Annual Connect Conference on Wednesday. During the same event, Meta may also showcase a prototype of its augmented reality glasses.

A Major Step in AI Development

This new feature in Meta AI is a significant move in the field of artificial intelligence. Users will now be able to hear their chatbot speak in the voices of their favorite celebrities. This step could pave the way for more exciting advancements in the future. It’s worth noting that Bloomberg first reported earlier this summer that Meta was in talks with celebrities to lend their voices for its AI chatbots.

Competing with Google?

As artificial intelligence becomes increasingly integrated into everyday devices, Meta is pushing hard to stay ahead in the AI segment by offering generative AI features to millions of its users. This move is seen as a direct attempt to challenge Google, owned by Alphabet, and OpenAI, the developer of ChatGPT. In fact, back in May, OpenAI introduced a similar audio feature for its chatbot.
