MG Motor Launches Windsor EV with Advanced Features at Attractive Price

NEW DELHI, Sept. 11 — MG Motor has officially launched its highly anticipated Windsor EV model, boasting a range of advanced features and a competitive price point. Priced at ₹9.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Windsor EV positions itself between the JDS EV and the Comet EV in the market.

The new Windsor EV is available in three variants: Excite, Exclusive, and Essence. Customers can choose from four color options: Starburst Black, Pearl White, Clay Beige, and Turquoise Green.

The vehicle features a cutting-edge design and is tailored to meet modern consumer demands. MG Motor offers a battery service at ₹3.5 per kilometer and a lifetime warranty for the battery for the first batch of customers.

The Windsor EV accommodates five passengers and resembles a large hatchback with its unique design elements, including flush door handles, full-width LED light bars, and a stepped front-end design. The rear of the vehicle features distinctive quarter glass panels, a sleek front and rear windscreen, and an expansive glasshouse.

Inside, the Windsor EV offers a spacious cabin highlighted by a 15.6-inch infotainment screen, a two-spoke steering wheel, a floating center console, and seats that recline up to 135 degrees. Additional features include wireless charging and a large panoramic sunroof, enhancing the luxury driving experience.

The Windsor EV is equipped with a single electric motor and a 38kWh battery pack, delivering 136 horsepower and 200 Nm of torque. It offers a maximum range of 331 kilometers per charge. The car also includes multiple drive modes: Eco Plus, Eco, Normal, and Sport. Buyers will receive one year of free fast-charging services and a 60% buyback offer for the first three years.
