Microsoft Copilot Adds ChatGPT-Like Magic: Get News, Analyze Photos & Videos with Ease!

Microsoft has introduced a new interface in its Copilot platform, which now comes with a ChatGPT-like feature. This update allows users to interact with a design that includes various blocks, enabling them to listen to global news, ask questions, and even upload photos and videos for analysis. Let’s take a detailed look at what this new interface has to offer.

Recently, Microsoft revamped the web version of its AI platform, Copilot, by adding a new interface and several fresh features. For those familiar with AI-powered chatbots, these additions bring some exciting capabilities. When users visit the portal at copilot.microsoft.com, they are greeted with a redesigned interface that features new "blocks," also referred to as "Copilot Daily." These blocks allow users to quickly access news from around the world in just 30 minutes, delivered in an audio format.

Blocks-Based Design in Copilot

In addition to the daily news blocks, Copilot includes other blocks that address common questions users might have. A chatbot feature is integrated within the interface, where users can ask questions in both Hindi and English. This functionality closely resembles ChatGPT, making the platform more interactive and versatile.

Limited Responses in Hindi

During testing, it was observed that while Copilot could answer many questions in English in great detail, its responses in Hindi were sometimes incomplete or inaccurate. This suggests that the platform currently performs better in English for in-depth answers.

Interactive Chatting on Copilot

Users can also interact with the platform via a microphone icon located in the search bar, enabling voice commands. However, this feature requires users to sign up before it becomes available.

Upload Photos and Videos for Analysis

Alongside the search bar, users will find a "plus" icon, which allows them to upload images, videos, and other supported documents. Once uploaded, users can ask the chatbot to analyze the content. Additionally, there is a screen reading option available, enabling users to listen to the content displayed on their mobile or laptop screens.

This new update to Microsoft Copilot enhances the platform's capabilities, making it more versatile and user-friendly for various tasks, from news updates to content analysis.
