In a major development, OnePlus 13 users can now install the Android 16 Beta 2 update, making it one of the first non-Pixel devices to receive this developer build. Rolled out on Thursday, this early update aligns with Google’s beta release schedule ahead of Google I/O 2025, set for May 20–21.

The update is intended for advanced users and developers eager to test Android 16 features early. At 7 GB, it can be downloaded via the official OnePlus Community forum, but OnePlus warns it is not suitable for everyday use.
