OnePlus is plunging into sophisticated AI technology with a suite of features that will make their debut on its latest OnePlus 13s smartphone later this June. Designed to make everyday tasks easier, these tools emphasize productivity, creativity, and personalized experiences without sacrificing user privacy.

Smarter Communication and Travel

The AI VoiceScribe allows users to record calls or meetings via apps such as Zoom or WhatsApp, which automatically summarize and translate conversations in real time—ideal for business calls, lectures, or overcoming language barriers while abroad. When on a phone call, the AI Call Assistant provides live translation and builds after-call summaries, easing conversation through languages.

For travelers, AI Translation confronts foreign text in several ways: type, speak, scan with the camera, or take a screenshot. Want to read a foreign street sign? Point your camera, and it appears instantly on your screen.

Your Phone, Now with a Memory Bank

Locating files or settings is a breeze with AI Search, which interprets natural language such as, "Find my vacation photos from December." Combined with Plus Mind, the phone is an electronic notebook, saving text, links, or images to recall later. Take a picture of a concert flyer, and the AI pulls out event information to add to your calendar automatically.

Photo Editing Made Effortless

The AI-powered camera app refocuses the reframe by a click, automatically editing the photo with crop and enhancement depending on the scene—perfect for snap-and-share social media updates. The group photo gets a lift with AI Best Face 2.0, which reopens closed eyes or relaxed faces in photos of up to 20 individuals, even if the photo was not snapped on a OnePlus phone.

A New Button for Quick Actions

Taking the place of the traditional Alert Slider, the Plus Key on the OnePlus 13s does it all: press it to access the AI assistant, turn flashlight on and off, change modes, snap a screenshot, or open favorite apps—whole customizable to the user's needs.

OnePlus guarantees all AI interactions are encrypted. The majority of processing occurs directly on the device, without cloud reliance. For processes needing cloud assistance, data is protected via a Private Computing Cloud, which the phone's owner has exclusive access to.
