Renault India has launched its first world-class showroom in Ambattur, Tamil Nadu, following a new global dealership format. The company plans to upgrade 100 outlets by 2025. Renault will also introduce new models, including the Kiger facelift (2025), Triber facelift (2025), and next-gen Duster (2026) to strengthen its position in the Indian market.

Renault India is gearing up for a major transformation in its brand image. The French automaker has launched its first world-class premium showroom in Ambattur, Tamil Nadu, following a new global architecture format called ‘new’R Store’.

This new dealership concept aims to provide customers with a luxurious car-buying experience, featuring:
Modern lighting and interiors
Comfortable seating areas
High-class service facilities

According to Venkatram Mamillapalle, MD & Country CEO of Renault India, this launch marks a significant milestone in Renault's journey in India. Renault is the first country to adopt this new store format, highlighting India's importance in Renault's global strategy.

Renault has big plans for its dealership network in India:

New outlets will follow the ‘new’R Store’ design.
Existing dealerships will be gradually upgraded to match the new format.
Rebranding efforts include a new visual identity (NVI), featuring a black-and-white Renault logo across all outlets.
100 showrooms will be updated to this format by 2025.

1. Renault Kiger Facelift (Expected Launch: Late 2025)

First launched in 2021, the Kiger SUV is due for a major update.
The facelifted version is expected to feature bold design updates and new technology enhancements.

2. Renault Triber Facelift (Expected Launch: 2025)

The Triber remains India’s most affordable 7-seater MPV.
The facelifted version will include sharper styling, an updated dashboard layout, and improved features.

3. Next-Gen Renault Duster (Expected Launch: 2026)

The third-generation Duster will arrive in India by 2026, with delays pushing its original 2025 launch.
It will be based on the CMF-B platform and is expected to feature:

130 BHP Turbo Petrol Mild Hybrid Engine

Strong Hybrid Powertrain Option
The test model of the new Duster was first spotted in India in November 2023.
