Upcoming smartphone launches July 2024: A wave of new smartphones is set to debut in the Indian market, including the OnePlus Nord 4 and the Honor 200 series. To help you navigate through the options, we have compiled a list of smartphones that are confirmed for launch in India this month.

OnePlus Nord 4

Reports indicate that the OnePlus Nord 4 will feature a 6.74-inch Tianma U8+ OLED display with a resolution of 2772×1240 pixels, a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, and a peak brightness of 2150 nits.

The phone is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset, complemented by LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.

In terms of camera capabilities, the Nord 4 is likely to sport a 50MP Sony LYT 600 primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens. For selfies and video calls, a 16MP front camera is anticipated.

Additional features may include an in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, an alert slider, an 0809 AAC linear motor, 17,900 millimeters of cooling technology, and an IR blaster.

The device is expected to house a 5,500 mAh battery with 100W SUPERVOOC fast charging support. Interestingly, both the Nord CE 4 and OnePlus 12R are equipped with a 5,500mAh battery and 100W fast charging.

On the software front, the OnePlus Nord 4 is likely to run the latest version of Oxygen OS on top of Android 14. OnePlus has confirmed that the Nord 4 will receive 4 years of Android updates and 6 years of security patch updates, ensuring its longevity and keeping it up-to-date through Android 18.

Honor 200 series: 

While there is no official confirmation on the specifications of the Honor 200 series for India, the Chinese version provides some insights into what we might expect.

The Honor 200 boasts a 6.7-inch Full HD+ curved OLED display with a resolution of 2664 x 1200 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display supports 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 4,000 nits of peak brightness, and 3,840Hz PWM dimming.

Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, based on a 4nm process, the Honor 200 includes an Adreno 720 GPU for graphics. It offers up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

The camera setup includes a triple-lens system on the back: a 50MP Sony IMX906 primary sensor with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide angle lens with a 112° field of view, and a 50MP telephoto lens with 2.5x lossless zoom. For selfies and video calls, there is a 50MP Sony IMX906 sensor on the front.

The Honor 200 is equipped with a 5,200mAh battery that supports 100W fast charging. It runs on Magic OS 8.0, based on Android 14.

The Honor 200 Pro shares the same 6.78-inch OLED display as the standard variant. It offers up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.

This model is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, paired with an Adreno 735 GPU for enhanced graphics performance.

These specifications give a glimpse of what the Honor 200 series might bring to the Indian market, providing high-end features and powerful performance.

Samsung Galaxy M35 5G: 

Samsung's mid-range Galaxy M35 smartphone is set to launch in India on July 17, coinciding with the Amazon Prime Day Sale. The M35 5G will feature a sAMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,000 nits of peak brightness. The display will be protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+. It will be powered by the Exynos 1380 chipset based on a 5nm process and will include support for a vapor cooling chamber for heat dissipation. The phone will also support Samsung Wallet and tap-to-pay functionality, along with Knox security and Knox Vault for enhanced protection.

On the optics front, the smartphone will come with a triple camera setup, including a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 5MP macro lens. Additionally, it will feature a 13MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. The Galaxy M35 5G will receive four years of Android OS updates and security patches, ensuring it remains up-to-date and secure.

The smartphone will be equipped with a 6,000mAh battery and support 25W fast charging. It will be available in three color options: Light Blue, Dark Blue, and Grey.

Realme 13 Pro series: 

The Realme 13 Pro and Realme 13 Pro+ are set to launch in India on July 30. These models will be available in Monet Gold and Monet Purple for the glass back panel, and an Emerald Green variant for the vegan leather option.

Both the Realme 13 Pro+ and 13 Pro will feature a range of AI enhancements, similar to recent Oppo and Realme devices. These include AI group photo enhancement, AI smart removal, AI ultra clarity, and more.

According to an earlier leak by tipster DigitalChatStation on Weibo, the Realme 13 Pro+ is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. This is a step up from the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset found in the Realme 12 Pro+. Additionally, the 13 Pro+ is likely to be available in four storage configurations: 8GB RAM/128GB storage, 8GB RAM/256GB storage, 12GB RAM/256GB storage, and 12GB RAM/512GB storage.
