Indian people strive way beyond rationality at rimes, a similar feat has been conducted by a man in Chandigarh who bided 15 lakhs for a registration no of his newly purchased Honda Activa. There have been times when bidders spent a great deal to buy single digit numbers in India but mostly these were for high end cars such as Mercedes Benz S class or Audi’s Bmw’s etc, but its s first that someone has used about 15 times the money used on the vehicle bought to buy a number plate.
The Chandigarh RTO was in shock while Mr. Brij Mohan placed a bid of about 15.44 lakh Rs for the number CH-01-CJ-0001, as we said above the number would as of now only increase the novelty of his subliminal Honda Activa. Brij Mohan a Business man also cleared the air while making his intentions of further using the number for a Personal car public.

Such erratic bids aren’t a new business, apart from this case as the number was used for a minimal scooter. But in 2012 a similar bid of about 26 lakh was also put forth for a fancy number. The number was bought for a Mercedes Benz S class.
The fancy number bought was a part of a collective fancy no auction in which about 378 went under the hammer for the bid, quite a lot f the numbers went on a premium while the second highest grossing no became the Ch-01-Cj-0002which was purchased for about 5.4 lakh Rs.
India is a dynamic place; here it seems two scenarios exist at once one of a man screeching along life working hard every day to earn as much as 15 lakhs to feed his family while the other end spends similar amounts on mere number plates.
