2021 Maruti Suzuki Swift has arrived with some feature as well as cosmetic updates and a starting price of Rs 5.73 lakh (ex-showroom).
The new hatchback is offered with new engine and three new colour schemes. Check out top six differences between the new and the previous model.

Prices
Prices of entry-level LXI variant start from Rs 5.73 lakh, while top-end model costs Rs 8.42 lakh. There is a price hike of around Rs 15,000 – Rs 24,000. Dual-tone variants – ZXi+ DT and ZXi+ DT AGS – cost Rs 7.91 lakh and Rs 8.41 lakh respectively. (All prices ex-showroom).
Power
New powerful 1.2L Dualjet petrol engine has replaced the 83bhp, old 1.2L K12 powermill. The new engine produces 90bhp and 113Nm of torque (unchanged). Engine is mated to either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 5-speed AMT unit.

Mileage
New engine gives better fuel efficiency, thanks to the start/stop function.

It delivers an ARAI certified mileage of 23.20kmpl and 23.76kmpl with manual and automatic gearbox respectively. The old Swift’s unit offers 21.21kmpl.
Exterior
The hatchback has received updates such as revised front grille with cross mesh patter and a chrome accent.

Interior
New fabric upholstery, a new audio head unit with feather touch controls, Bluetooth, AUX and USB connectivity.

Colours
The hatchback is offered in three new colour scheme – Sold Fire Red with Black roof, Pearl Arctic White with Black roof and Metallic Midnight Blue with White roof.
