The new model of Hyundai Tucson, which is the flagship SUV of India’s second-largest automaker, made global debut some time back. In the Indian market, the automaker sells an older model of the SUV.
However, it appears that the automaker now has plans to bring the 2022 Hyundai Tucson to India next year. Well, recently, the new Tucson was spied undisguised on the Indian roads.
A fleet of Hyundai Tucson was spotted loaded on a trailer truck and are believed to have been imported as CBU. Obviously, these are not the test units.
Instead, they are the production-spec models. Also, the models lacked camouflage. So, it can be assumed that Hyundai is planning to introduce the new generation Tucson in India soon.
2022 Hyundai Tucson SUV Design
The design of the all-new model looks sharper. It receives a parametric grille at the front with integrated LED daytime running lights. However, the actual headlight assembly is mounted on the bumper.
The sharp lines are visible on the sides and the wheel arches are also angular. The back is no different either. The cohesion has received a rather aggressive design of the taillights.
The rear bumper is also equipped with a bold-looking diffuser and integrated fog lights.

The interior of the new generation Tucson has a unique appeal. It has a clean design for the air conditioning vents. The list of features is long too.

The new car will be pitted against the likes of the Volkswagen Tiguan Facelift, Citroen C5 Aircross, Jeep Meridian, Jeep Compass, and more.
2022 Hyundai Tucson SUV Expected Price
The 2022 Hyundai Tucson will come with both petrol and diesel engine options with manual and automatic transmissions. Starting price is expected to be Rs 25 lakh.
