Toyota has finally taken the wraps off the much-awaited Innova Hycross, which will go on sale alongside the Toyota Innova Crysta current version. The bookings for the all-new Innova Hycross have also commenced. However, the price of the MPV has not been announced yet.
In terms of appearance, the 2023 Toyota Innova HyCross looks quite different from the current Innova Crysta. The bonnet is high-positioned while the grille is fresh and there are sleek all-LED headlamps. With subtle MPV traits, the new Toyota Innova HyCross has been designed as an SUV.
The all-new Innova HyCross measures is 4.75 in length, 1.85 metres in width. The MPV has a ground clearance of 185 mm. It gets a 100mm longer wheelbase than the Innova Crysta.
2023 Toyota Innova HyCross: Interior
Inside, Innova HyCross gets a dual-tone set-up in the cabin and a vertically stacked centre console. It offers a 10-inch display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. What makes the cabin more premium are the soft-touch materials. It also features a panoramic sunroof.
A 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system will be available with the lower variants. The MPV has a 4.2-inch multi-info display with analogue dials. A lot of space between the front seats is available, thanks to a dashboard-mounted gear lever.
A dual-tone interior with leather seats will be offered with the top-end variants. The 2023 Toyota Innova HyCross will be offered in 7-seat and 8-seat configurations.

2023 Toyota Innova HyCross: Specs
Toyota Innova HyCross’ top-end variants will have a full-hybrid system (Toyota’s fifth-generation S-HEV system). Under the hood, it will house a 2.0-litre petrol engine on the Atinkon cycle. The engine will churn out a combined power of 186 PS. A 1,987cc engine will power the non-hybrid variants. This engine is capable of producing a maximum power of 174 PS and 197 Nm of peak torque. There will only be a CVT gearbox available.
A hybrid powertrain is offered on the Innova Hycross with a claimed mileage of 21.1 kmpl.
