Growing up Bat mobile would be a Dream car for many and over the years Amercian companies have developed Kitt cars based on different car parts and engines which can be assembled and driven around in legally. Similar feat is done by Amjad Khan Bollywood A-lister who has worked on films like the Heropanti and baghi. Recently the car was spotted by Flying beast Gaurav taneja and with his keen interest he shared with us the interior as well as the general facade of the car.
The car is inspired by the Michael Keaton’s batman movie which was released back in 1989. There has been quite some hype for the batmobile as the car would be used again in a upcoming batman movie.
This is not a made-in-India car. It came from the USA and was assembled in India. The whole car took about 8 months to complete. Gotham Motors, which is a USA based brand manufactures these customised Batmobiles. In India, Mumbai-based Executive ModCar Trendz assembled the vehicle for Ahmed Khan.
Engine figures
The car is powered by a twin turbocharged v8 which produces about 463hp and about 700nm of torque.as the vlogger showed us inside the car a lot of screens were visible these somehow would have been attached to cameras as you cannot see much out of its confined cabin.
These kit cars are a big rage in America as over there crate engines as well as engine swapping is allowed, in a country like ours with strict rules to inhibit vehicle modifications such a vehicle would not be considered legal to be on the road. There have been several attempts in India as well to construct a replica of the Bat mobile but they have been somewhat diabolical to look at. Its not easy to produce a 1:1 replica of a car and in India with import duties being as high as ever help is hard to get from the overseas. for us such cars would only remain to be hard to get.
