BMW is all set to launch 3EV’s in India next year, check details

New Delhi: BMW is all set to launch its three electric vehicles in India next year. The company will launch 3 cars, the iX, the Mini Electric, and the i4 electric sedan in the next six months. After witnessing the huge demand for electric vehicles the company is set to launch the three models.

The three models will be used for the immediate future in India via the CBU route. BMW India has announced that the three new electric vehicles are set to go on sale in India over the course of the next 6 months. The electric vehicle, iX electric SUV which is set to launch within the next 30 days. This will be followed by the Mini electric which will be launched within the next three months, and the launch of the i4 sedan will make its way to India in the mid of 2022.


The BMW iX electric vehicle is an AWD electric SUV that offers 425km of range. The iX will also have comprehensive use of natural materials which will produce green electricity and use zero rare earth metals and zero raw materials from deep-sea mining.

BMW will also offer 11kW AC fast chargers that will produce a full charge in 7 hours and 100km of range in 2 and a half hours. The company will also install 50kW DC fast chargers in all their dealerships across 35 cities.

The rivals of the upcoming three models of BMW are Tesla, Mercedes-Benz EQC, Audi E-Tron, and the E-Tron GT, and Porsche’s Taycan. BMW is all set to compete with Tesla and Hyundai, who have been part of electric campaigns. It seems that all the major companies are all set to successfully adopt electric cars in India.
