Citroen has released the new e-price C3’s range. After the C3 hatchback and the C5 Aircross SUV, the electric hatchback is the French automaker’s third model in India. The Tata Tiago will compete with the Citroen e-C3, as is well known. ev.
The cost of the new e-C3 ranges from Rs. 11.50 lakh to Rs. 12.43 lakh (ex-showroom). On the other hand, the cost of Tiago.ev ranges from Rs 8.69 lakh to Rs 11.99 lakh.
The Citroen e-C3 has a top speed of 107 kmph and can accelerate from 0 to 60 kmph in 6.8 seconds thanks to its permanent magnet synchronous motor (57 PS/143 Nm). Normal and Eco are the two driving modes for the electric vehicle.
The motor is connected to a 29.2kWh lithium-ion air-cooled battery pack, which can be charged from 10% to 100% using a 15A plug point in 10 hours and 30 minutes and from 10% to 80% using a DC fast charger in 57 minutes. The e-C3 has an inbuilt charger that produces 3.3kW.
According to the Modified Indian Driving Cycle (MIDC), the Citroen e-stated C3’s range is 320 kilometres on a single full charge. The battery of the electric vehicle is covered by a seven-year/140,000km warranty from the automaker, while the motor is covered by a five-year/1,000,000km warranty.
