Elephants are known for their calm and placid nature until provoked , once provoked they are known for their aggressive behavior, they can trample as well as devastate any equipment they set their eyes on. A recent case for Karnataka showcases the duality of the Elephants nature pretty profoundly a couple of elephants were passing by easily across the road the driver could have waited and let them pass up but he banked the car against them and the elephants started to aggressively shunt the car.
There have been several opinions over the internet upon whose fault it was, as it seems there was a huge lineup of vehicles on the road and probably the Amaze driver though he could make it around the Elephants and hence tried to turn the car rightwards. He could have waited and still his car would have faced the elephants as he stood close to them.
