The Third gen Hyundai I20 Crash tested by the Global NCAP to test the safety provided by it to its occupants. The Third gen was brought into the market In November 2020 to rival the likes of Tata Altroz , Suzuki Baleno, and Toyota Glanza.

With I20 being a phenomenal offering to the market with its varied feature list across all models and various engine and transmission selection. such a performance from it in the aspects of safety is not fathomable. The Tata Altroz has the Bragging rights in the order as it provides 5 star safety rating to its occupants. The Honda jazz which was tested recently also scored about 4 stars even after being an old car needing a face lift sorely, being in the market since2015. The bowing out Vw polo also rated at 4 stars while the new Suzuki Baleno and Glanza are yet to be tested by the GNCAP.
