The Toyota Innova Hycross has been presented, and as was predicted and anticipated, it is a whole new interpretation of the “Innova” brand. The new Innova Hycross is a drastic departure from the previous-generation Innova Crysta thanks to features including a front-wheel drive configuration, monocoque structure, petrol-only powertrain options, and a slightly upright stance. However, some individuals believe that there is still room for the Innova Hycross to appeal in a way that is similar to an SUV, and this digital representation that we have found is one such example.
The new Toyota Innova Hycross appears more masculine and fit for the off-road in a digital rendering created by SRK Designs than in the previously released stock model. SRK Designs demonstrated in a YouTube video how the Toyota Innova Hycross would have appeared as a more imposing SUV.
It seems massive, Innova Hycross
Gloss black surrounds have been used in place of the front grille’s chrome surround and the corner housings on the front bumper. The front grille is different as well and appears to have been influenced by the more imposing grilles of the Land Cruiser SUV and Toyota Tacoma pickup truck that are sold abroad. Scuff plates on the lower front bumper have a unique appearance. All of these modifications give the Toyota Innova Hycross’ front profile an even more rugged, off-road-ready appearance.
The modifications don’t stop at the front, though, as this digital image also features larger black alloy wheels with chunkier-looking tyres. This car is made for experiences like driving on mountain roads because even the side door panels have graphics that resemble mountains. The top box is positioned on roof carrier supports in the computer rendering of the Innova Hycross. Here, the roof has a similar black paint job.
This visual representation of the Toyota Innova Hycross is purely the product of the artist’s imagination; Toyota has no immediate plans to release such an off-road capable version of the MPV. Bookings for the Toyota Innova Hycross have already begun at all of the Toyota dealer locations nationwide. The MPV will begin selling in January 2023.
A 2.0-liter normally aspirated petrol engine and a full petrol-electric robust hybrid powertrain with a 2.0-liter Atkinson cycle petrol engine are the two available powertrain options for the new Toyota Innova Hycross. In order to close the gap between the Innova Crysta and Fortuner SUV, the new MPV will be sold alongside it as a more expensive alternative.
