Harley-Davidson is a motorbike brand that is well-known among motorcycle enthusiasts all over the world. This is the legacy of the American brand, which is celebrating its 120th year this year. To mark the occasion, Harley-Davidson has introduced limited-edition editions of seven of its motorcycles. Aside from that, Harley-Davidson presented new updated models such as the Breakout performance cruiser, the Road Glide 3 trike, the Nightster Special middleweight sport motorcycle, and the Freewheeler trike model, which will be covered in a separate piece.
“Since 1903, Harley-Davidson has pioneered American motorcycle design, technology, and performance, and today marks the start of a year-long celebration of Harley-120th Davidson’s Anniversary,” stated Jochen Zeitz, Chairman, President, and CEO of Harley-Davidson, when the motorcycles were unveiled.
“We’re thrilled to present the first batch of 2023 Harley-Davidson motorcycles; additional releases will follow later in the year. We hope you can join us in 2023 as we celebrate the history, culture, and community of Harley-Davidson. It will be an amazing milestone for the company.”
Intricate paint schemes are used for the 120th anniversary model of Harley-Davidson. Anniversary Black is applied as a base coat to the models, and then Heirloom Red is applied in panels. Each of the panels is bordered with a hand-applied scallop of gold paint and a vivid red pinstripe. The head and wings of a soaring eagle are depicted by subtle details incorporated within the panels, and the gold-plated tank medallion also features an Art Deco interpretation of the eagle, which is a defining feature of H-D design. Alcantara seat surfaces with red and gold stitching are also included for the versions. Only a few of the following units are available for each of the seven types.
