Back in 2020, Hero MotoCorp had launched the Hero Connect to offer its customers new-age solutions, allowing them to stay technologically advanced while riding their bikes or scooters. Priced at Rs 4,999, the Hero Connect was offered for four bikes – XPulse 200, Pleasure+, Passion XPRO and HF Deluxe – at its initial launch.
What is Hero Connect and how does it work?
Hero Connect is a cloud-based solution aimed at giving customers a smarter riding experience.
HeroConnect uses telematics hardware with a built-in SIM that is securely installed on the bike.
The cellular network is used for communication between the app on the rider’s phone and the device. The data uses cloud storage and is transmitted to the mobile phone.

Topple alert: Sends an app notification and SMS to your registered mobile number and emergency contacts in case your vehicle topples.
DRIVING REPORT
Trip Analysis: Helps review details like distance travelled, time taken and route driven for all your trips taken within past 6 months.
Driving score: Calculates your score based on different driving behavioural patterns and tells you how well your bike is being driven.
Speed alert: Sends an app notification every time your vehicle crosses the speed limit set by you.
VEHICLE SECURITY
Live tracking: Tracks your vehicle in real time and provides accurate driving path during the trip and shares current driving speed.
Tow away alert: Sends an app notification and SMS to your registered mobile number, if any unauthorized vehicle movement is detected.
Geo fence alert: Sends an app notification whenever vehicle leaves from or arrives at set places of your interest or pre-defined geographical areas.
Hero locate: Helps to find you last parking location and also navigate you last location using Google Maps.
