Hero Electric has hinted at the arrival of a new product in India. The firm has posted the official teaser on its social media accounts ahead of the national launch of a brand-new electric scooter.

Also, it released a 12-second teaser that offers the electric scooter’s initial, melancholy look. A new age of 2W mobility is being presented, it argues. It is unclear, though, if the scooter will be a new model or an upgrade to the Hero Optima. On March 15, the electric scooter is reportedly going on sale.

The teaser video indicates that the electric scooter would have an LED headlight mounted on the front cowl. LED turn indicators will be located in the middle of it. Additional characteristics that the electric scooter is rumoured to contain are front disc brakes, curving seats, thick grab rail and a blue colour motif.
The business recently disclosed that it has a contract in place with US-based Zero Motorcycles to work together on high-end electric motorcycles. The alliance combines Hero MotoCorp’s large production, procurement, and marketing capabilities with Zero’s experience in creating powertrains and electric bikes.
The partnership was established after the board of Hero MotoCorp authorised a $60 million equity investment in Zero Motorcycles in September 2022.
