A new midweight motorcycle is about to be revealed by the joint venture between Hero MotoCorp & Harley Davidson for the Indian and international markets. According to reports, a brand-new motorbike in the mid weight class (350-850cc) is anticipated to go on sale by the end of 2023–2024.

By the end of the forthcoming financial year, the first motorbike created by the Hero-Harley collaboration will be available for purchase at separate showrooms for each brand. Taking full advantage of the mutually advantageous collaboration inked a few years ago, Harley-Davidson and Hero MotoCorp intend to enter the middleweight motorcycle class in the Indian market. The alliance’s first motorbike, aimed at (350 – 850 cc) range, will be released before the end of the 2023–2024 fiscal year.
Motorcycle will come in two variations and be offered for sale separately through Hero MotoCorp & Harley-Davidson sales channels. The first of a number of high-end models that Hero & Harley are jointly designing will be this one. “Over the next two years, you will see models in the volume as well as profitable in the premium markets, along with that the platforms we are creating in collaboration with Harley,” said Niranjan Gupta, the chief financial officer of Hero MotoCorp.
Bajaj-Triumph & TVS-BMW JV are developing numerous mid-weight motorcycles, in addition to Hero & Harley. Harley aims to position the next model such that it doesn’t compromise its identity and isn’t perceived as a “cheap Harley.” Buyer reception to the brand’s America 1250 Special but also Sportster S motorcycles has been overwhelmingly positive.
Harley motorcycles, parts, accessories, and apparel are currently distributed in India by Hero. The business has added 10 certified repair center’s and 13 dealerships to its exclusive Harley distribution network.
