Hero motor corp. is known for its product the Splendor and when a major part of the sales are being driven by products like the splendor its vital that the company would give it a update, hence the Hero motor corp. recently launched a new variant of the bike with several new features
The bike now gets a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, hence the bike provides incoming or missed call alerts, message alerts and has a real time fuel efficiency indicator as well. The XTEC as the new variant has been named would have an integrated USB port as well.
Safety Features
Safety features on the new Splendor Plus XTEC include a side-stand alert and a side-stand engine cut-off. Like the standard Splendor Plus, the XTEC also gets a bank-angle sensor which cuts off the engine in the event of a fall.

Design
In terms of design, the Splendor Plus XTEC gets a new LED Daytime Running Lamp strip on top of the halogen headlight, new graphics and black alloys. It is also available in four new color schemes – Sparkling Beta Blue, Canvas Black, Tornado Grey and Pearl White.

Engine Specifications
The XTEC variant is mechanically identical to the standard Splendor , its powered by a 7.9 BHP, motor which provides a peak torque of about 8.05NM, the 97.22 cc . single cylinder four stroke air cooled engine comes equipped with an 4 speed transmission, and hero’ si3 auto start/stop tech. The bike has tough competition in the segment from bikes like the Bajaj Platina and Honda CD 110 deluxe.
While the bike already brings solid sales for the brand this new iteration would help the brand in updating as well as making their a bike a bit more modern. None of the bikes in this price range provide connectivity features or Usb ports. The Bike is priced around 72,900 while the conventional i3s is priced at around 70,700.
