How to book Yamaha FZ-X online: The latest version of Yamaha FZ-X has arrived in India and boasts new technologies such as the Y-Connect app with smartphone connectivity. The Japanese bike maker has introduced two different versions of the neo-retro commuter motorcycle.

Price

The price of standard variant is Rs 1,16,800 (ex-showroom). On the other hand, the FZ-X version with smartphone connectivity is priced at Rs 1,19,800 (ex-showroom).

Here is a step-by-step process to book Yamaha FZ-X online:

-Click HERE to go to the official website’s products page.

-As you click on ‘Ready to buy today’, you will be asked to register by creating your account.

-You can also select the doorstep delivery option for the bike.

-The booking amount is Rs 2000 and you will need to pay it online as you initiate booking.

-Buyers also get an option to buy additional accessories such as bike cover at Rs 400, engine guard at Rs 800 and LED flasher at Rs 1,490.

-Interestingly, Yamaha is also offering a Yamaha Limited Edition G-Shock watch to first 200 bookings.

-You can also choose the colour of the bike while booking online.

-However, the booking process will be completed after you visit the dealership and pay full amount.

-The customer will have to get the exact delivery period from the dealership.

-The delivery period may vary depending upon the colour of the bike.

Engine

Yamaha FZ-X packs a 149cc engine from the Yamaha FZ series. The single-cylinder engine develops a maximum power of 12.4 bhp at 7,250 rpm and a peak torque of 13.3 Nm. It should be noted that both variants have the same frame and that the curb weight of the motorcycle is 139 kg.

Features

The Yamaha FZ-X features the Y-Connect app, which can be used to get notified about an incoming call and other mobile notifications. The app also displays the battery charge indicator along with details such as fuel consumption as well as malfunction alerts.

The bike offers an upright seating position that appears sportier than its predecessors. Hence, it is a viable option for touring as well as city use.

Yamaha FZ-X availability

According to Yamaha, the company will start delivering the motorcycles from June 2021. Customers will be able to book it via Yamaha dealerships soon. They can also book it online and can select the doorstep delivery option.
