While Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch it new Viatra brezza its close competitors aren’t sitting mongering about the stars as well, Hyundai is all set to launch its new facelift venue , which has been revealed through a 3d model. This leaked 2d model which has been leaked on the internet showcases all the changes the vehicle would receive in its mid production run freshen up. The car has big shoes to fill while going against the competition like the Brezza as well as Sonet which already have a certain % of the demand to themselves.
Changes seen in the leaked Render
The leaked images reveal a parametric grille just like the Hyundai Tucson, probably Hyundai wants all their portfolio to have a similar unique design . The car still has split headlamps with main headlights in the bumper and a silver faux skid plate to provide the car a dual tone contrast. On the sides, there are newly designed alloy wheels. These are the same alloy wheels that we have spotted on the test mules running on our Indian roads. There is black plastic cladding running throughout the side. There are silver roof rails, turn indicators on outside rear-view mirrors and chrome door handles too.
Changes In The Rear Section
Towards the rear most of the changes replicate themselves The tail lamps are all-new and are split units. Both of them are joined with a red strip that mimics the look of a light bar. The rear bumper is also new and houses the reversing lights and rear fog lamps. There is also a wide faux silver skid plate. Other things that we can spot are a rear wiper with a washer, a defogger, a high mounted stop lamp and a shark fin antenna. We can also see that the Venue will continue to come with an electric sunroof. Although these changes would be split across the various variants Hyundai always brings to the market it would be vital to not how the basic end variants would look when they come to India.
Interior to be restyled as well
No 3d render of the interior has been revealed yet but we believe that the car would receive a slew of changes in there as well with new touches a swell as a new upholstery. The car might also get a complete interior styling re-design. Hyundai although probably wouldn’t make any changes to the mechanicals of the car and would keep the same engine options as before so there would be three engine options to choose from, 1.0-litre turbo petrol, 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine.
The naturally aspirated engine produces 83 PS and 114 Nm. It comes mated to only a 5-speed manual gearbox. The diesel engine produces 100 PS and 240 Nm. It is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox only. Then there is the turbo petrol that produces 120 Ps and 172 Nm. It is offered with a 6-speed manual gearbox, 7-speed DCT or a 6-speed iMT.
Hyundai is also believed to be working on a N line version which would be launched with the facelift, as reported by Auto car .The car would hit the market in June sometime. While these changes haven’t been confirmed by Hyundai themselves but certain media reports suggest that these would be used to help venue pull along more sales.
