Exterior of a new Hyundai Verna
The brand-new Hyundai Verna has a segment-leading wheelbase of 2,670mm and is just slightly longer than its rivals at 4,535mm. By comparison, the wheelbase of the new Honda City is 2,600mm, while that of the VW Virtus and Skoda Slavia is 2,651mm. The Verna’s size increase also assures that it has the best width (1,765mm), which will provide it more shoulder room than its rivals, and the segment’s largest boot (528 litres).
When they unveiled the distinctive looking Fluidic Verna in 2011, the Verna’s premieres have always been eagerly anticipated, and this launch is no exception. The brand-new Verna looks quite different from the outgoing model from the front and back. Its long, sweeping lines are reminiscent of EVs, and the LED setup covers almost the whole width of the vehicle.
