Kwasaki announces 70k discount on Versys 650

Kawasaki India in a bid to out rival the market has announced a discount of about 70000 on its Kawasaki Versys 650. The bike already had a venerable demand in the segment but it seems the brand want to increase the stake, the bike has had in the market for adventure tourer’s.

The Kwasaki Versys 650 is now available with a voucher worth 70k discount at the market price of the bike, which in Delhi ex showroom happens to be Rs 7.15 lakhs. The company also announced that the discount only to remain till 30th April 2022. The adventure bike segment of the Indian market is continually getting more competitive with new entrants like the triumph tiger 660 as well and with old competitors like the Suxuki V-strom, which hasn’t already been selling that well.

The New Version of Kawsaki Versys 650 to be Unveiled Later This Year

The Japanese company is also inbound to bring in the new 2022 Kawasaki Versys 650 which has received a fair amount of changes, including a Led head lamp with a new design ,  a Bluetooth enabled TFT display , That would help the driver connect with the vehicle more efficiently And these changes would also bring the bike on level with its other competitor Adventure bike.

Engine Specifications

However apart form these changes the bike remains the same , the power unit remains the same as well with 650cc parallel twin liquid cooled engine which produces about 64.8BHP as well as a peak torque of about 60.7 NM. The engine serves the master mated to 6 speed manual gearbox  . The bike comes with 17’ inch alloys in the front as well as the rear. Dual Roars in the front tire and a single one at the back. Inverted forks at the front and a Mono shock at the back. While the details of the launch have not surfaced yet the bike would make it to national shores sometime later this year.
