KIA Seltos has been one of the front runners in the mid size SUV segment ,as a product the car has recorded brilliant sales since its inception. But as competition in the market swells up with new prospective entrants like the Suzuki YFG KIA seems to be preparing ahead of Time. A recent media report from Rushlane showcases a new version of the KIA Seltos being road tested under heavy camouflage.
The car is all set to get a mid production life facelift which would help its stand at par with the new Creta although several test mules were earlier seen in Korea a recent one was witnessed in India as reported by Rushlane. The car would not get any major changes as the overall shape of the car seemed similar in under the camouflage, even the dynamics were similar so the KIA would not swell up after the facelift. But the model according to Rushlane would get a revised bumper as well as and new modular head lights as well as tail lamps.
The car would also get re-done alloys to mark a change in its appearance. According to Rushlane the car was earlier spotted in Steel wheels and now the car was being driven around on alloys. Plus as a matter of intrigue the car has a banner stating no photography, strange considering people hardly keep their camera’s in their pockets when cars under camouflage surface on streets.
New Expected Features
The car is in its newer fresher innings would get better connectivity features from the KIA UVO platform, plus the car would also get ADAS features for enhanced safety. Panoramic roof has also been a missing link in the KIA Seltos and this time around it seems KIA would make sure they provide it at least on the top spec variants.
KIA would keep on the powertrain as is ,its possible they might offer certain mild Hybrid systems to make the car more eco friendly. The car would still be offered with These shall include 2 petrol engine options and 1 diesel. It could also get a CNG option with a 1.4 liter turbo petrol motor. For occupants’ safety, 2023 Seltos should get 6 airbags
