A recent video from the south part of the country has been getting a viral reception from the netizens. In the video a KTM RC somehow ends up wedged in between the confines of the electric transformer cage. So here what all happened that resulted into such a ending. The incident took place in Bellayamkudi near Kattappana in the Idukki district.
The CCTV camera reveled all the details of the crash and the misdemeanors that resulted into such a mess. In the video the bike is already out of control while the rider seemingly is trying to slide the bike to perform a stunt or control the bike so it doesn’t crash.The bike flipped after going sideways the rider jumped to save his life and the bike went straight to the electricity enclosure. The rider was not wearing a helmet or any other safety gear. However, he was not hurt in the accident.
Soon people swarmed around the area where the incident happened and helped he rider . A JCB was brought in to take out the bike out of the enclosure , the bike suffered substantial damages with the front end completely loosing its shape and the whole bike suffering form minor damages in general. No news has been released about punishments imposed upon the rider, in such cases police should impose heavy penalities so that people refrain from such activities in the future.
Safety precautions
Although the bike was owned privately by the participants its not advisable to conduct such races on public roads. The danger of there being accidents always looms close . Also if proved as this video once published can ,that the owner was in a pursuit of testing the top speed or trying to do a timed run in case of an accident the insurers might turn hesitant to help.
