2023 Renault Kiger, Triber, and Kwid hatchbacks are now in compliance with BS VI Step 2 emission standards. Additionally, the new BS VI Step 2 certified range has improved safety measures. Although prices have not yet been released, Renault has launched reservations for the revised Kwid, Triber, and Kiger across all of its dealerships.
Safety features like Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Hill Start Assist (HSA), Traction Control System (TCS), and Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) are standard on the 2023 Renault Kiger, Triber, and Kwid. High-end comfort amenities including steering-mounted controls and LED turn indicators are also included with the Kwid. On the Triber MPV, the manufacturer has also installed new seat upholstery and door knobs with a chrome finish.
The three versions are still available with their individual gasoline engines. All current Renault vehicles come standard with a self-diagnostic system that continuously checks the vehicle’s emissions while it is in motion, along with other vital emission components like the catalytic converter and oxygen sensors.
The Renault Triber MPV is equipped with a 5-speed manual or AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) gearbox and is powered by a 72bhp, 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine. The Kiger compact SUV is likewise powered by the same engine but only has a 5-speed manual transmission. The 100bhp, 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine with a choice of a 5-speed manual or CVT transmission is also available for the Renault Kiger.
The Kwid hatchback now comes in a new RXE type that Renault has added, and it costs Rs 4.69 lakh. It has a 5-speed manual transmission and a 1-liter petrol engine. Due to insufficient demand, Renault has also chosen to drop the 800cc engine from its lineup. The brand’s latest entry-level variation is the new RXE model.
