For the past few days, a viral video has been making the rounds on the internet, showing a Mahindra Scorpio-N owner taking his SUV under a waterfall, resulting in water leaking inside the car’s cabin through the sunroof housing. Mahindra has now responded to the controversy by submerging a white Scorpio-N beneath the same waterfall and demonstrating that no water leaked inside.
The previous viral video, posted by a YouTuber, showed the owner of the Mahindra Scorpio-N excitedly driving his car under a waterfall on his way to Spiti. However, his joy was short-lived as water began to leak from the roof-mounted speakers as well as the cabin light panel.

The cause of the water leak remained unclear, and internet users responded to the situation in a variety of ways. Although more information isn’t yet available, we think that this action may have rendered the warranty void.
Nonetheless, Mahindra made the decision to handle things on their own and ended up doing the same’stunt’ again. The video’s tagline, “Just another day under the waterfall for the Scorpio-N,” was released by the business on their Twitter account. Mahindra further stated that the film was produced with the help of professionals and urged the audience not to try to imitate, recreate, or carry out the same actions.
On higher variants, the Mahindra Scorpio-N has a single-pane electric sunroof. The three-row SUV also has an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity and connected-car technology, dual-zone climate control, cruise control, a wireless phone charger, a 6-way powered driver’s seat, and a semi-digital instrument cluster.
The Mahindra Scorpio-N starts at Rs 12.74 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs 24.05 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom) for the top-of-the-line Z8L Diesel 4×4 AT variant.
