While stray animals become a prime reason of street accidents sometimes in certain cases they themselves turn out to be the victim. A recent case reported form Mumbai has held the Netizens in dilemma as a roaring and accelerating Maserati Gran Turismo Hits dog that was probably startled buy the growling sound of the car. While taking of the Maserati hits the dog , and the dogs falls prey to a heavy jolt which pushes him aside from getting ran over. While some are saying the driver did so on purpose, others believe that it was an accident as its hard to see a puny dog ahead of the long hood of the car.
The case has divided Netizens pretty evidently while some seek justice other seek revenge considering the running over part being done on purpose. What ever the case might be as revealed over on Instagram by several users the dog is fine and has been taken due care of. While the car owner eloped. On trying to reach the owner by tracing the no plate it was revealed the car was sold to someone else by the first owner and now the man who by mistake or thought fully ran over the dog has been handed over severe challans as well as penalties. Plus the person has gained a lot of criticism over the internet.
The driver has been booked by the police under Various sections. The driver was booked under IPC 429 and 279 sections. Also, additional sections of the Motor Vehicle Act and animal cruelty were invoked.
