According to Union Minister RK Singh, the government is chalking out a plan to hold auctioning of the green hydrogen in the coming 4-5 months.

“Once we start with this in three years, green hydrogen will become competitive,” Singh added while speaking at the launch of the “Go Electric” campaign.

This campaign aims to raise awareness about the benefits of electric vehicles and electric cooking in the country. Electric vehicles and electric cooking are widely seen as the steps that will reduce import dependency.

Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari were also present at the same event. While addressing the gathering at the event, he asked the government to provide subsidies on electric cooking equipment instead of LPG gar to reduce our dependency upon others.
