Details of the upcoming redesigned Honda Activa 125 H-Smart have leaked on the company website before of its official unveiling. It is now safer than ever, with the following highlights:
The Honda Activa 125 H-Smart version, like its revised younger sister, will include a new “Smart Key” and improved safety technology.
Smart Locate – When you are within 10 metres of the scooter, indicators flash, making it easier to locate the vehicle.
Smart Unlock – Remote unlocking of the seat and fuel lid in addition to keyless locking and unlocking of the scooter within two metres.
Smart Safe – Keyless start with just two metres of proximity to the scooter. The scooter automatically locks itself as the distance grows. By holding down the button for three seconds, you may also turn off this function.
Smart Start – To start the Activa 125, turn the knob and press the start button.
In addition to these components, the Activa 125 must to include onboard diagnostics that are BS6-2 compatible (OBD2). The scooter’s 124cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine, which generates 8.29PS and 10.3Nm, should otherwise not change. Over the disc model, which costs Rs 84,916 more, it should sell for an additional Rs 3,000. (ex-showroom Delhi).
